Capus Ray "C.R." - "Bobo" Beaver, Jr., 86 of N. Post Road, Shelby, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Carolinas Medical Center - Charlotte.

Born in Cleveland County, on November 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Capus Ray Beaver, Sr. and Hattie Elizabeth Peeler Beaver. Mr. Beaver was retired from Webb Chemical and was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his four brothers, Vernon "Jack" Beaver, Johnny "Buss" Beaver, Guy "Dodd" Beaver and Warren Beaver and two sisters, Bryte Cook and Ruth Canipe.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Diane Ledbetter Beaver; a daughter, Teresa Williams of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Teisha Camp and husband, Chris and Danielle Pinkard and Kevin Thomas and three great-grandchildren, Alexia Camp, Maeva Camp and Beau Camp.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norris Willis officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Sunset Cemetery.
