Charles "Chocky" Donald Nalley, Jr., 60, of Mooresboro Road, Shelby passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at his residence.

Chocky was born on December 22, 1964 in Silver Springs, Maryland to Jeanette Robbins Nalley and the late Charles Donald Nalley, Sr. He was retired as an electrician and enjoyed spending time with his family and going fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Sable.

In addition to his mother, Jeanette he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kelly Denise Nalley; three sons, Casey Nalley and wife, Emily, Preston Nalley and Spencer Nalley and significant other, Rebecca Carpenter all of Shelby; daughter, Heather Moxley and husband, Ryan of Mocksville; brother, Eric Nalley and wife, Amanda of Smyrna, SC; sister, Donna Rucker and husband, Raymond of Belwood; four grandchildren, Kade Nalley, Grey Nalley, Kendal Moxley, Grayson Moxley. Chocky is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Jasper.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 1:30pm to 2:00pm at Community Baptist Church, 3306 Polkville Road, Shelby.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 2:00pm at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Caldwell and Rev. Gary Mode, Jr. officiating.
