Charles "Danny" Bright, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Henderson Care.

Danny was born Wednesday, October 10, 1951 in Rutherford County to the late Charles Bright and Joyce Norville. He worked at Aeroquip Industries for several years and was a member of the Church of the Exceptional. Danny was a country music enthusiast and enjoyed writing and singing country songs. He was an avid Johnny Cash fan and also enjoyed watching westerns.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a sister, Rhonda Oberstaller and a niece, Brandy Oberstaller.

Those left to cherish fond memories include three brothers, Barry Bright (Pam) of Forest City, Scott Bright (Tammy) of Huntersville, NC, Henry Bright of Charleston, SC and a sister, Alanna Woods of Kings Mountain; nieces and nephews, Stephen Bright (Amy), Sharra Hackett (Darrin), Sevin Bright, Genna Oberstaller, Eli Bright (Rebecca), Micalah Beachum (Jeff) and Hannah Bright; great nieces and nephews, Hayden McBrayer, Maggie McBrayer, Tucker Hackett, Cora Bright, Sabie Bright and Samuel Bright.

An entombment ceremony will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 in the Mausoleum at Cleveland Memorial Park with Reverend Scott Courtney officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm on Saturday at Harrelson Funeral Home prior to the service at the cemetery.
