Claude Junior Davis, 82, of E. Main Street, Lawndale, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024.

Born in Rutherford County, on September 29, 1941, he was a son of the late Claude Brisco Davis and Lela Dysart Davis. He was the founder of Davis Motor Company.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two sons, Steve Dale Davis and Jason Matthew Davis; three brothers, Norris Brisco Davis, R.W. Davis and James Matthew Davis; and two sisters, Mattie Sue Edwards and Millie Ramey.

He is survived by his partner, Kathy Davis of Lawndale: son, Claude Keith Davis of Ellenboro; and a granddaughter, Eliyanah Jade Davis.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Graves officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
