Creighton Taylor Quinn, 71 of Old Waxhaw Monroe Road, Waxhaw, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Atrium Health - Main.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 31, 1951, he was the son of the late Flay DeWitt Quinn, Jr. and Mary Virginia Taylor Quinn. Creighton had a love of nature, life, music, his family, friends and the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Quinn Jordan and husband, Benjamin of Waxhaw; brothers and sisters, Flay "DeWitt" Quinn, III of Shelby, Amanda Q. Hovis and husband, Richard of Denver, Cynthia R. Bashford of Wrightsville Beach and Sydney V. Quinn and wife, Lou Ellen of Wanchese; nieces and nephews, Christa Hovis Harris and husband, Brett, R. Pryor Hovis and wife, Stephanie Hovis and son, Hayes High, S. Taylor Rudisill and wife, Chelsea and children, Live Grace Rudisill, Colton Rudisill and Kingston Olds, Mary Virginia Quinn, Lauren Nicole Quinn and Sarah Kate Quinn; mother of his daughter, Nancy H. Quinn and father-in-law, Kenneth E. Haynes.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Twin Lakes Venue (formerly North Lake Country Club) 1200 North Washington Street Shelby, North Carolina 28150.

A reception and gathering of family and friends will follow the service.
