Crystal Ledford Henson, 46, died Monday, September 5, 2022 at her home.

A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of Christine Sheehan Ledford of Shelby, and the late Jimmy Ledford. Crystal was employed with Atrium Health and use to be active in the biker's ministry, helping the homeless. She loved helping others and traveling to the beach. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Adrian Henson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, David Henson, of the home; sons, Brandon Henson and wife Ciara, Chad Piercy, both of Boiling Springs, Gage Henson of Gastonia and Zach Henson and wife Mia of Boiling Springs; daughter, Cherish Bridges and husband Jacob of Missouri; brother, Dale Ledford of Shelby; grandson, Xander Henson; mother and father-in-law, Brenda and David Henson of Shelby; brother-in-law, Jody Henson and wife Amanda of Lattimore; and special friends, Lisa Huskey, Laura Hamrick England and Nick Jones.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Randy Richardson and Chris Little officiating. The family will receive friends 12:30-2:00pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.
