Daniel Giardiello Sr., 69, of 171 Lyman Dr, passed away on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Boston, MA, he was the husband of Peggy Ritter Giardiello and the son of the late Michael and Accurzia Bentivegna Giardiello.

Daniel was a loving person who had a big family because he considered his friends to also be his family. After serving his country in the United States Army, he became a truck driver. He was so dedicated to supporting his family, he would drive all night to make it home in time to watch them play football on Friday nights. Then, on Sundays, he was watching the Patriots and whichever team Tom Brady was playing for. A motorsports junkie, he would go to car shows and mud races when he could.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Giardiello is survived by two sons, Daniel Giardiello Jr and Michael Giardiello (Ashley), two brothers, Michael R. Giardiello (Lisa) and Frank Giardiello (Bernadette), three sisters, Lorraine Giardiello, Rose Marie Giardiello, and Michelle Alvin (Anthony), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Giardiello was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Giardiello.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 4:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel.
