David "Dayday" Coggins, Jr., age 46, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at his residence.
David was born Tuesday, January 4, 1977 to Linda Bradley who resides in Forest City and the late David Lee Coggins, Sr. David was a handyman and could fix about anything. He was a fun-loving people person who enjoyed yardwork and NASCAR. David loved his family dearly and always treasured the time he could spend with each of them.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his "bonus" dad, Dale Bradley and his significant other, Trish Smith.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his sister, Melissa Miller (Chris) of Ellenboro; brothers, Chuck Duane Coggins (Tanya) of Ellenboro, Dale Bradley, Jr. of Shelby, Marcus Shawn Bradley of Rutherfordton, Cory Alan Bradley of Bostic, Patrick Christopher Bradley (Mia) of Fayetteville, NC; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Baby Girl and Skylar.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 22nd at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Mike Cash officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
