David M. Cornwell age 72, passed away at his home in Prosperity, South Carolina, on April 13, 2024.

David, a native of Columbus, Ohio was born on February 23, 1952. He was the son of the late Bob and Geraldine Cornwell. David worked for WBT Trucking as a truck driver before retiring. In his spare time when he wasn't working you could find him on a lake somewhere wetting a hook.
David is survived by his two sons, Matt Cornwell and his wife Tammy, and Chad Cornwell; one sister, Vicki Russ and her husband Richard; three grandchildren, Brandy Gilbert, Patricia Campbell, and Dalton Cornwell; one great-grandchild, Grayson Gilbert; one nephew, Todd Royster and his wife, Tammy; great nephew, Taylor Royster; one great-nieces, Tori Younce and a very special friend Kent Richardson
The family of David will receive friends from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, 846 East Stagecoach Trail, Fallston, NC.
