Donald "Don" Richard Dellinger, 78 of Belwood, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on April 11, 1945, he was the son of the late Summie Dellinger and Lorene Spencer Dellinger Jolley. Don was owner and operator of Dellinger Tractor Sales and Service and was a member of Kadesh Church. He served on the board of directors for the Belwood Antique Museum for many years.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Pierce; a grandson, Cater Pierce and a brother, Bill Dellinger.

He is survived by a son Allen Dellinger and wife, Misti, of Fallston; two daughters, Danita High and husband Curtis of Oak Island and Nicole Helms and husband Bryan of Fallston, three brothers, Clayton Dellinger of Mt. Holly, Cline Dellinger of Belwood and Phil Dellinger of Belwood; two sisters Janis Kline of Shelby and Mary Pierce of Gaffney; grandchildren, Garit Pierce, Colby Pierce, Jordan Smith and husband Stephen, Tyler Helms, Katelyn Miller and husband, Joseph, Kristin Dellinger, Ashley Dellinger and Clay Dellinger and two great-grandchildren, Brooke Miller and Holden Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm at Kadesh Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at Kadesh Church with the Rev. Wayne Key officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
