Donald Jolley, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Donald was born Saturday, September 20, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Wid Jolley and Jean Brooks Jolley. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. In his younger years, he attended Corinth Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty-nine years, Barbara Jolley; daughter, Donna Jolley and by his brothers, Dale and Doug Jolley.
Survivors include his son, Donald R. Jolley II (Kim) of Boiling Springs, SC; daughters, Tracy Jolley of Ellenboro, Chrissy Radford (Chad) of Cliffside and Joan Allen (Bobby) of Mooresboro; sister, Shirley Medford of Ellenboro; grandchildren, Donna Hensley (Will), Brittany Radford, Ray Swink, Mandy Swink and Stacey Swink; great-grandchildren, Reagan Hensley, Mikey Reid, Parker Reid, Nicholas Swink, Nate Swink, Conner Swink and Tommy Swink.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 21st at Harrelson Funeral Home. Military honors will be accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard following the visitation.
