Doris Dameron Weaver, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully at her home on January 24, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born on April 17, 1951, in Cleveland County, Doris's life was a testament to her kind-hearted nature and unwavering spirit.

Doris's legacy is cherished by her devoted husband of fifty-two years, James "Jimmy" Everett Weaver. She was a loving mother to her son, Chris Weaver and his wife, Hope, of Fallston, and her daughter, Katie Hoyle and her husband, Toby, also of Fallston. Her joy was multiplied by her three grandchildren, Nick Weaver, Lauren Hoyle, and Landon Hoyle, who will carry forward her teachings of compassion and grace.

Before retiring, Doris dedicated her life to education, shaping young minds as a teacher in Lincoln County Schools. Her commitment to community service was further exemplified in her role as the Mayor of Fallston and her part-time work at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home. A faithful member of Fallston Baptist Church, Doris lived her faith and spread kindness wherever she went.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, James Hill Dameron and Eloise Stroup Dameron. Her memory will be honored as a symbol of love and kindness, a guiding light for all who knew her. Doris Dameron Weaver's enduring legacy will be felt for generations to come, as she rests now in eternal peace.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Fallston Baptist Church Family Life Center.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2024 at 4:00 PM, Fallston Baptist Church with Rev. Toby LeRoy, Rev. Tim Elmore, and Rev. Wade Dellinger officiating.

An inurnment will following the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.
