Doris Moore Wells, age 84, resident of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, passed away at Carolina HealthCare - Kings Mountain, on June 13, 2017. Born in Cherokee County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland Moore and Kathleen Bailey Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Henry "Pete" Wells and was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Doris was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Western Auto Corporation after 26 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife.

One Daughter: Gloria Sowers, Mint Hill, NC.

One Grand-daughter: Brittney Kondratiev and husband Yuri, Providence, RI.

Sisters: Virginia Bumgardner, Kings Mountain and Brenda Sellers and husband Bill, Kings Mountain.

Brother: Rick Moore and wife Jean, Kings Mountain.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, June 16, 2017, 4:00 PM First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC, Dr. John Sloan officiating.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the service in the Stained Glass Room at the church.
