Fannie Mae Hoyle

Fannie Mae Hoyle was born October 24, 1935, and departed this life on January 8, 2025 at Atrium Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.

She was born in Shelby, North Carolina where she lived before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Cleveland School and worked in various jobs before working in the textile industry at Pharr Yarn for many years.

Fannie enjoyed reading, doing word find puzzles, watching basketball and golf. She said that she liked the energy of the basketball players, and the beautiful green grass of the golf courses! She was a huge Atlanta Braves fan, enjoyed old television shows, and listening to gospel programs.

One of her favorite things to do was cooking, and she was an awesome cook! She loved to share her culinary skills, and she was very happy when others enjoyed the delicious food she prepared. Fannie had a kind, compassionate heart, and her sweet spirit will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Hall, who Fannie cared for until her mother passed, four brothers, Palmer Lee Stafford, Bailey Hoyle, Clarence Hoyle, and Elvis Hoyle.

Fannie leaves to cherish her memory a devoted son, Terry Hoyle (Daisy), five sisters, Sarah Gilyard, Lily Wray, Judy Freeman, Brenda Hoyle, and Vernessa Otey; grandson, Thedrick Hoyle; great grandson, Mason Mishamandani; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of the services.
