BOILING SPRINGS - Frances Harris, age 92, of Shelby, NC, passed away July 17, 2017 at Willow Ridge.
Born June 23, 1925 in Gaffney, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Otis and Sally Ellis Blanton. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Harris; siblings, Cassie Hardin, Ellis Blanton and Margaret McMurry.
Frances was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and received her degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
She is survived by her children, Steve Harris (Sandra), Tena Blanton (Harrill Jr.), Anna Gales (Terry), Althea Crawley (Steve), William Harris (Angela); eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Frazier and Rev. Billy Cooper officiating.
