Gloria Jean Kimble, 72 of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Kings Mountain Care Center in Kings Mountain.

She was born on November 10, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC to the late John Less Kimble and Agness Love Kimble.

Gloria was a casualty of Kings Mountain Care Center of 42 years. She was a loving sister to her brothers. She enjoyed eating her favorite plain Lays potato chips while coloring and holding her baby doll or teddy bear. She had a loving smile and gave gestures when wanting $1.00 to put in her change purse--she loved her dollar bills. She enjoyed playing and spending time with her babies, whom were her

great-nieces and great-nephews and her brother JD Kimble.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Sarah Davis, who reared her; two brothers, Larry Kimble and Robert (Robin) Kimble; cousin, Callie Degree; best friend, Missy, of Kings Mountain Care Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brothers, J.D. (Glenda) Kimble of Shelby; whom she was especially close to, loved and cherished the most and Sam (Linda) Kimble of Kings Mountain; a special uncle, Tommy Kimble of Stanley; special cousins; Bettye (Ab) Simmons of Philadelphia, MS, Averee "Red" Roseboro of Charlotte, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 at S.T. Enloe Memorial Chapel in Shelby, NC at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday.
