Howard James Clugstone, 74, of Shelby, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at his residence.

A native of Corning, New York, he was born January 13, 1952 to the late Howard Brooks Clugstone and Alice Mae Rhoda. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Clugstone.

Howard was one who was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need and loved to work on cars.

Survivors are his children, Tina Strawbridge (Joe), Jamie Gleason (Vincent), Michelle Clugstone (Fred), Alice Clugstone, and Bob Barnes; his grandchildren, Emma Strawbridge, Rubix Gleason, Braeden Gleason, Fred McFall, Stephen McFall, Daniel McFall, and Aiden Hamilton; his siblings, Joe Clugstone (Julie), Charles Clugstone, Patricia Hunt, and John Clugstone; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately in accordance to the family wishes.
