Ira William "Bill" Falls, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Hospice of Wendover Shelby.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ira and Bertha Culberson Falls. Bill served his Country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force and was a longtime member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, Uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. Bill was an avid Gardner who enjoyed planting Biltmore Tomatoes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Harold, James, Doytt, and Roy; four sisters, Eloise, Shirley, Ruth, and Joyce. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Alohma Ledbetter Falls of the home; son, Jason Falls and wife Nancy of Kings Mountain; daughters, Natalie Eustace and husband Jeffrey, Andrea Navey and husband Sean all of Grover; grandchildren, Angel Nalley and husband Jay, Brandon Pennington and wife Kristen, Ashley Werthmann and husband Jake, Nicholas Falls, and Matthew Navey; great grandchildren. Kimberly Pennington, Hunter Pennington, Blake Pennington, Bradley Pennington, Carson Pennington, and Paislee Pennington. Funeral services will be held 3PM, Friday February 16, 2024 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
