BOILING SPRINGS: Ivey Madgeline Blanton, 87, died Monday, February 14, 2022, at her home. Born In Greensboro, NC, she was the widow of Robert Gene Blanton, and the daughter of late P.A Brantley and Donnie Mae Campbell Brantley.
She was a bank manager at the MBAFB FCU for 21 years after she retired, she eventually went on to work at many different nursing homes throughout the years.
She loved many and she was loved by many. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and had a smile that lit up the room. She loved the Lord and her family more than anything in the world!
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, John Adam Blanton, her only brother, Paul Adam Brantley, sister, Dorothy Bridges.
She is survived by her loving children daughter, Angela Blanton son, Robert Blanton and wife Shirley; three granddaughters, Brittney, Alexis, and Brooke Stevens, 1 grandson, Matthew Blanton. Her precious great grandsons Dakota, Izaiah, and her great granddaughter, Lana; sisters, Juanita Philbeck, and Edna Greene.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nick Rizzo at Care Solutions. Tina, Liz, and the staff at Life Enrichment Center, and Shevela with Healthy at home.
Funeral Services will be held 4PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, At Westwood Heights Baptist Church with Rev. David Costner officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
