Jackie Mullinax Queen

Jackie Mullinax Queen, 75, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Hospice at Wendover.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the Rev. Robert and Mildred Bagwell Mullinax. Jackie was a faithful lady who was a member of New Buffalo Baptist Church. She was a Sunday school teacher, a lecturer of ladies conferences and loved to work in the church kitchen. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, baking cakes and being an avid prayer warrior. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Wickie; grandson, Cody Bailey; and brothers, Steve and Bobby Mullinax. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald Queen of the home; son, Kenneth "Butchie" Bailey Jr. and wife Lisa of Blacksburg; sister, Kathy Mullinax Williams and husband David of York, SC; brother, Eddie Mullinax and wife Jenny of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Tony Martin, Dylan Ruppe and Tyler Bailey; great grandchildren, Jordon Bailey, Mason Bailey, Bransyn Bailey, Landon Ruppe, Aiden Ruppe, Avery Ruppe and Abigail Ruppe. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 6, 2025 at New Buffalo Baptist Church, with the Rev. Adam Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in Grover Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to VIA Hospice, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
