SHELBY - It is with deep sorrow that we announce James Brice Wilson, 86, who passed away peacefully at home on January 09, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends.

James was a kind and simple soul who left the world a better place. He enjoyed sports, gardening and bird watching. He was a caring and loving father. Above all, James' passion was his wife of 63 years, Meta, who were hand in hand to the very end.

He was loved and cherished by many people including his late mother and father, William Landers Wilson and Margaret Ollie Wilson; sister, Louise Martin and spouse Joe Martin; late brother, Howard Wilson; children, Sheran Wilson Simmons and spouse Mickey Simmons Sr., James B. Wilson Jr. and the late Lisa Ann Wilson; grandchildren, Mickey Simmons Jr. and spouse Kelli Simmons; Kristen Simmons Beiza and spouse Aurelio Beiza and Brittany Randolph; great-grandchildren, Mason Simmons, Eli Simmons and AJ Beiza.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
