James "Jimmy" Allen Aldridge, 67, of Costner Road, Shelby passed away on January 31, 2025 at Atrium Health- Cleveland.

He was born on January 5, 1958 in Ohio to the late James E. Aldridge and Barbara Jean Benfield Leigh. Jimmy was retired from PPG Industries.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, George Leigh who raised him; wife, Tana Jo Aldridge; sister, Sherri Garbo; a grandson, Stone Murray and a great-grandson, Liam Murray.

Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Courtney Aldridge and fiance, Taylor Harris of Wingate and Sunshine Murray of Shelby; two sons, Micheal Stewart of Eden and Shannon Murray of Shelby; brother, Ricky Aldridge of Shelby; two sisters, Karen Kendrick and husband, Robby of Shelby and Kimberly White and husband, Mark of Mooresville; six grandchildren, Stevie Murray, Everleigh Bridges, Cassidy Beaver, Sage Stewart, Liam Harris and T.J. Harris and two great-grandchildren, Emmarie Beason and Christopher Beason.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 2:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be private.
