James Willis Brown, Jr., 83, of Lawndale , passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024.

James a native of Sumter, South Carolina, was born on November 10th, 1940. He was the son of the late James and Faye Brown. James was also preceded in death by his son Jimmy Brown, and his daughter, Laura Brown. Jimmy was a man who loved God and his family.
Left to cherish the memory of this loving family man is his wife of 43 years, Selvia; one son Kevin Brown and his wife, Kim; one daughter, Caroline Reynolds and her husband, Joseph William Reynolds, III; four grandchildren, Joseph William Reynolds, IV, Coby Reynolds, Jameson Brown, and Ashlynn Brown; two great-grandchildren Ezra and Evelyn Paz.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday evening at the New Bethel Baptist Church, in Lawndale, North Carolina.
