Janice Wilson Gann, 77, of Kings Mountain, NC, entered eternal life on October 24, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home.

She was born December 23, 1946 in Cleveland County, NC, daughter of the late Harry and Reba King Wilson and was preceded in death by her only brother, Ricky Wilson. Janice was a founding member of Harvest Baptist Church. She was a faithful and dedicated member who was always willing to help others anyway she could. Janice worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a talented clothing maker and created beautiful outfits and made alterations for many people. Janice also enjoyed quilting in her spare time. She worked as a cake decorator and wedding planner. Janice assisted in the weddings of countless people through the years. Always placing others above herself, Janice volunteered as a member of Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department where she spearheaded their haunted trail for several years, raising money for the fire department. She also served as a crossing guard for Kings Mountain Police at East Elementary School. Janice was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother. Her friendship, dedication, compassion and love will be remembered forever by all those who knew Janice.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Harvest Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, NC with Pastor Gary Teague officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harvest Baptist Church

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC
