Jean S. Butler

Jean S. Butler, 86, joined her Mother, Father and Brother in their Heavenly home on Thursday, August 03, 2023 while at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. She was the oldest of 6 children of the late Paul and Ethel Sullivan and was born in Nashville, NC . She is also predeceased by brother, Gerald Sullivan.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Gail (Danny) Greene of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Kari Davis Strickland of Heath Springs, SC and Chad (Laura) Davis of Shelby, NC; great-grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Max Davis and Eli Strickland; siblings, Carroll (Doris) Sullivan of Shelby, NC, Danny (Deborah) Sullivan of Nashville, NC, Marshall (Debbie) Sullivan of Nashville, NC and LaVonne Sullivan Temple of Wilson, NC; many nieces and nephews.

Jean was a loving Mother and Nana and was always there for family in any need. She loved the Lord. She spent the last 7 years at Terra Bella Assisted Living in Shelby, NC. She was loved by those in her community. She was always involved in projects and helping out where she could.

She was always a sharp dresser and looking like a queen with her beautiful blue eyes. People who knew her, knows how independent, stubborn and strong-willed she was. But More remember her by her beauty, kindness, sweetness and loving-hearted soul and dedication to her family!

Jean loved reading, painting and writing poetry. She loved her grand-puppy as much as the rest of her family. Baseball season was her game and Braves were her team.
