Jesse Dale Milling, 69, of Casar , passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024.

Jesse was born on December 20, 1954 in Lincoln, County. Jesse was the son of the late Jesse Milling and Naomi Robinson Milling. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Johnson, son-in-law, Darrin O'Donoghue, and his father-in-law, Richard Bridges. Jesse was a graduate of Kings Mountain Highschool in 1973. Jesse and his wife have been active members of Polkville Baptist for many years. He was a former member of Ruritan and Operation Christmas Child for over 10 years. When he wasn't volunteering his time at one of these organizations, you would find him volunteering as a Girl scout leader for his family. Jesse was known by his friends and family as a fan of Nascar as well as the Miami Dolphins.

Survivor's of Jesse include his wife Cindy, of 49 years; a son Kevin Milling; a daughter, Melody O'Donoghue; two grandchildren, Austin and Alaina Milling; one sister, Delores Barrett; mother-in-law, Mary Bridges; special friends, Paul and Irene Houser and Petie, his faithful dog.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jesse will be held on Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Polkville Baptist Church 4214 Polkville, North Carolina 28136 with the Rev. Will Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Polkville Baptist Church.
