Jimmy Dewayne Gossett, 51, of Cliffside Highway, Chesnee, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at home.

Born in Spartanburg County, on February 17, 1973, he was a son of Henry Howard Gossett and Myrle Frances Radford Gossett. He was employed with Spartanburg Steel as a Welder for over twenty-six years. Jimmy was also a member of Temple of Victory Church where he enjoyed spending time and worshiping. He loved to carp fish with his buddies, Randy Hardin and Jesse Hardin and his wife Heather. Jimmy was also an avid Gamecocks Fan.

He is survived by his wife Heather Price Gossett; three siblings, Jerry (Ann) Gossett of Rutherfordton, Terry (Rhonda) Gossett of Polk County, and Vickie (Bruce) Bradley of Chesnee; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Temple of Victory Church.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Temple of Victory Church with the Rev. Jesse Hardin, Rev. Kyle Lowery and Rev. Randy Hardin officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the House of Prayer Church Cemetery.
