JoAnn Baity, 87, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on August 19, 2023 at home. Born in Cleveland, NC, She was Daughter of the late Lawrence Crawford and Mary Costner Bumgardner and was also preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Arthur Pinkney Baity Jr., son Michael Nathan Baity and daughter Beverly Ann Brown. She retired from Kings Mountain Hospital after many years of service and continued to volunteer at the Hospital after her retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was a blessing to her family and an avid reader who made the greatest fudge in the world.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Mark Shane Baity (Pam) Kings Mountain, NC and Mitchell Brent Baity (Sherrie) Kings Mountain, NC.

Daughter-in-law: Debbie Baity, Kings Mountain, NC

Brother: Joe Bumgardner (Lynn) Kings Mountain, NC.

Sister: Sylvia

Grandchildren: Daniel, Billy, Jodie, Mark, Tim, Lyndsey, Matthew, Darrell and Sarah.
