Johnny Franklin Keever, 78, of Hephzibah Church Road, Crouse, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at home.

Born in Lincoln County, on January 31, 1945, he was a son of the late Carl Houston Keever and Mary Abernathy Keever.
He was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Wallace Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Farris Black Keever.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Randall and husband David of Crouse; three brothers, Billy Joe Keever, Darrell Keever, and Jerry Wayne Keever all of Lincolnton; three sisters, Linda Tidwell of Vale, Patricia Keever and Sherlie Hedgepath both of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Allen Randall and Kevin Randall and wife Heather and seven great grandchildren, Lilly, Sandra, Sara, Lindsay, Elizabeth, Larry, and Stanley.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, at 3:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Phillips officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Wallace Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
