Jose (Joe) Jesus Villanueva, 89, of Grover, NC entered God's kingdom on December 10th , 2023.

He was born December 22,1933 to Carlos and Mary Villanueva.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Mary Villanueva, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and his eldest son Joe Jr. Joe was the most loving and devoted husband, father, father figure, grandfather and great grandfather. Joe is survived by his wife Diann of 57 years, sons Edward (Windy), Scott (Alma) and Jayson; daughters, Nina and Felicia (Michael); grandchildren, Steven James, Quintin, Isaiah, Makayla, Makhi and Gabriel; great grandchildren, August and Mateo, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Joe enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War. Upon discharge, Joe met the love of his life, the woman who would stand by his side through thick and thin, Diann.

Joe started his family life in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he worked tirelessly and faithfully to support his family by working at the local paper mill where he eventually retired after nearly 30 years.

Joe was a truly great man whose impact will be forever felt by his family that loves him dearly. He was a selfless man whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, forgive, and love is the legacy that he left to all of us.

The funeral services for Mr. Joe Villanueva will be held privately.
