Judy Hefner Houser, 77, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Atrium Health - Lincoln.

Judy was born on December 7, 1946 in Catawba County, NC a daughter of the late Ralph Everette Hefner, Sr. and Leona Barnette Hefner. She was retired as a sales representative for Sprint in Hickory. Judy was a member of Reeps Grove United Methodist Church in Vale. She enjoyed baking and was also very talented in crafts and art.

In addition to her parents she as preceded in death by a brother, Ralph E. Hefner, Jr. and a niece, Erika Hefner.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Donald Howard Houser of the home; a son, Danny Houser and wife Amanda of Vale; two daughters, Deborah Houser Heavner and husband Tommy Shane of Vale; Marci Houser Turner and husband Dr. Bret Turner of Cherryville; four grandchildren, Tyler Heavner, Sierra Heavner, Landrum Turner and Michael Turner; a brother, Gerald Hefner and wife Debra of Kannapolis and a sister-in-law, Carol Hefner of Hickory.

The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:45PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church in Vale.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at Reeps Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Fulker officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
