Judy Simpson, age 84, of Henrietta, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Colonial Manor in Rutherfordton.
Judy was born Sunday, March 3, 1940 in Fort Mill, South Carolina to the late Henry Allen Simpson and Melba Oral Weese. She worked as an inspector for Watts Regulator for many years. Judy's greatest love was for her animals. She also enjoyed the outdoors and doing yardwork.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Simpson.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Raymond Simpson of Forest City; Helen White of Henrietta; Darlene Padgett of Ellenboro, Ann Padgett (Mitchell Owens) of Forest City and a host of nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 on Friday, January 31st at Harrelson Funeral Home. Burial will be private for the family.
Memorial donations are requested to the Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue, 380 US 221N, Rutherfordton or to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
