Kathy Hoyle Weaver

Kathy Hoyle Weaver, 71, went to her heavenly home Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Born in Cleveland County on June 16, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Luther Raymond Hoyle and Myrtle Self Hoyle.Kathy was faithful member of Buffalo Baptist church where she formerly served as a pianist, Sunday School teacher, and WMU leader.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband Robert Phillip "Phil" Weaver, daughter Wendy Weaver Jamison, and grandson Alex Jamison. She is further joining her brothers Gene, Bill, Coleman, Don, and Dale Hoyle and sisters, Joann Lovelace, Ann Hord, Linda Willis, and Margie Vess.

Kathy's legacy will endure through her profound love for the Lord sharedwith all she encountered. Kathy expressed her love for the Lord embodying and creating communion through laughter, joy, and comfort.As a selfless and devoted wife, mother, mawmaw, family member and friend Kathy created memories, and a meaningful impact on one and all. An admirer of God's creation Kathy found significance in all things from lighthouses, butterfly's, to small flowers on streets, seashells and more. Kathy loved traveling with her family visiting the Outer Banks, andcamping at Lake James where precious memories were made fishing and boating. A legacy of God's love, laughter and communion, Kathys spirit will live through each person she loved and impacted until we meet her again.

Kathy is survived by her daughters Danielle and Scott Whitaker, Nicholeand Andy Hamrick, grandchildren Phillip Jamison and fiancé Bailey, Daniel Whitaker, Hailey, Eliza, and Anais Hamrick. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Sue Thornburg, and Janet and Michael Helms. Further loving family members include Ricky, Debbie Weaver, Terry, Joel Milam, Billy, Lisa Weaver, and Carolyn, Hugh Bess, and many others.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Buffalo Baptist Church in Shelby with Rev. Dustin Mace and Rev. Macky Turner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Buffalo Baptist Church Building Fund: 105 Buffalo Church Rd. Shelby, NC 28150.
