Kaysha Celeste Montgomery of 309 Clegg Street, Shelby, NC, was born on September 9, 1995.

She peacefully transitioned November 26, 2023, at Atrium Health Cleveland. Kaysha is the daughter of Tonya Kay Littlejohn (Samuel) and Demorris Allen (Ykeisha Surratt).

Kaysha was soft spoken but full of life. She could light up a room with her smile. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a 2013 graduate of Shelby High School. and went on to attend North Carolina Central University, and. She was employed by ResCare and a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Waco, NC.

Kaysha is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Deacon Frank Brenda Montgomery; paternal grandparents, Bo Clemmons and Cindy Allen and uncles Sherwood Montgomery and Randy Allen.

In addition to her mother and father, she leaves to cherish her fond memories her brothers, Antonio Montgomery, Demario Allen, Demorris Allen, Deron Allen, Dontavis Thomas, Charles Borders and Taquonyea Littlejohn; sisters, Kayse Finney and Taquana Littlejohn; and a long list of aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Waco, NC at 3:00 PM. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday and other times at 1044 Tarlton Road in Shelby.
