Kenneth Donald "Don" Ledford, age 89, of Kings Mountain , passed away on Monday, June 17th, 2024 at Atrium - Main Charlotte, NC.

Don was born on December 24th, 1934 in Lawndale, NC. Don was the son of the late William and Ruby Ledford.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Bob Ledford.

Survivors of Don, include his wife of 70 years, Barbara Carter Ledford; two sons, Mark Ledford, and his wife, Debra, and Michael Ledford and his wife, Kimberly; one sister, Linda Putnam and her husband, Gary; one grandchild, Christopher Ledford, and one brother-in-law, Clement Carter and his wife, Lisa.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Brackett officiating. Interment will follow the service in Rose Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
