Khammongkhone "Kong" Chanthaphaeng, age 58 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at his residence.
He is survived by his children, Tony Chanthaphaeng and wife Thanh of Greenville, SC, and Jimmy Chanthaphaeng of Lincolnton, NC, a grandchild, Teagan Chanthaphaeng, siblings, Khammay, Nome Shaw, FA, Keo, Thong, and Kham.
Born December 6, 1965, in Laos, Kong was the son of Chanpheng Chanthaphaeng and the late Manh Chanthaphaeng. Kong was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Kong always brought joy and happiness with his jokes. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
