Larry D. Bolick passed away on February 16, 2024, at the Rowan Medical Center at the age of 74.

He was born on February 05, 1950, in Cleveland County to the late Betty Powell and Blanche Ray Bolick.

Larry retired from Freightliner and was a former firefighter of Cleveland County. He enjoyed rescuing schnauzers (9), as well as rescuing and taming feral cats. He served in the Army where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his child Krista Bolick; his sisters Patsy Lauder and Tine DeVinne; and his brother Scott Bolick.

Left to cherish his memory is his long-term companion of 37 years, Michael Turner of the home; his brothers Mike Bolick of Salisbury and Gene Bolick of Rutherfordton; Elizabeth Bolick Roller of Arcadia FL, Ray Bolick of Kings Mt., and his Aunt Myrtle Simmons of Cherryville.

A service will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday March 10, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Express, 125 Marriott Cir, Salisbury, NC 28144.
