Born on December 21, 1976, in Detroit, Michigan, Laura's gentle spirit and unwavering kindness profoundly impacted all who knew her. She was a woman who embraced life with open arms and a heart full of love for her family and friends.

Laura is lovingly remembered by her devoted boyfriend of over twenty years, Jonathan Marcum, and her cherished children: sons Andrew Marcum and Seth Towery, and daughters Kimberly, Summer, and Jordan Marcum. Her memory will be treasured by her brother Chris Reynolds, her sister Sara Shenk and her husband Robert, her dear uncle Ric Holloway and his wife Jennifer, and her adored nephews Corbin and Victor Holloway, Christopher Reynolds, and Zack and Wade Shenk. Her nieces Sadie Shenk and Jolene Reynolds will hold onto the warmth of her love forever. Laura also leaves behind special friends Lisa and James Adkins Sr. and their son James Jr., whose lives she touched deeply.

Laura's parents, Mike and Patricia McGloughlin, preceded her in death, but their legacy of kindness and strength lives on through her.

An avid fan of college football, Laura's enthusiasm for her Michigan Wolverines was infectious, and her rallying cry of "GO BLUE" will echo in the hearts of her loved ones forever. She was a woman who never met a stranger, making friends wherever she went with her open heart and generous spirit. Laura's unconditional love for her children was the cornerstone of her life, and she instilled in them the values of compassion, resilience, and joy.
