Letty Ruth Moore Nalley, 75 of Wards Gap Road, Casar, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lincolnton.

Born in Cleveland County, on February 25, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Wesley L. Moore and Mary Louise Pruett Moore. Letty was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Eugene Nalley; granddaughter, Jane Nalley and two brothers, Bob Moore and Don Moore.

Survivors include three sons, Marvin Moore of Fallston, Douglas S. Nalley of Grover and Richard A. Nalley of Casar; two daughters, Wanda J. Wright of Casar and Lynn Haynes of Shelby; eight grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charlie Moore of South Carolina and Jesse Clayton Moore of New House and a sister, Cathy Bright.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Timmy Reynolds officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
