Linda Marlark Hoyle, 81, of Forest City, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.



Linda was born on September 5, 1944 in Georgia to the late George James Malark and Carolyn Hendrix Malark. She was a retired cosmetologist.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Hoyle.



Linda is survived by her sons, Chad Robinson of Shelby and Chris Robinson and wife, Pam of Chesnee, SC; two sisters, Cheri Siegel and husband, Paul of Spartanburg, SC and Patti Murray of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Jordan Robinson and wife, Megan who are expecting their first child and Jay Robinson and wife, Dipa and their children, Priya and Rowan.



The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.



A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Palm Tree Church Cemetery with Ms. Leslie English officiating.
