Linnie Arch Holder

Linnie Arch Holder, born on August 21, 1951, in Lee County, North Carolina, completed his earthly journey on August 14, 2025, in Cleveland County, North Carolina, at the age of 73.

A devoted family man and respected member of his community, Linnie will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.
Linnie spent his early years in Lee County, where he cultivated a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors, relishing in activities such as camping and fishing. These interests remained a significant part of his life and were a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for the simple joys of life.
Professionally, Linnie was dedicated to his craft as an HVAC technician and eventually became the owner and operator of his own HVAC company. His work was characterized by diligence and integrity, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Linnie was known for his willingness to help others, often going above and beyond to lend a hand to those in need.
A man of faith, Linnie was a devoted member of Crowder's Mountain Baptist Church, where he found fellowship and spiritual nourishment. His commitment to his faith was evident in his generous and giving nature, which touched the lives of many.
Linnie's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife of 16 years, Debra Holder, his son, Linnie Holder, and two daughters, Ruby Warren and Jennie Hooker, along with her husband, Timmy. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Holder; stepsister, Barbara Rash; two brothers, Wade Holder and Gaylon Holder; and two stepbrothers, Frankie Holder and William Holder. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren, Ian, Christian, Marshall, Dawson, Nicole, and Ashton, as well as his two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Nelma Murray Holder, father, Bennie Holder, twin brother, Lawrence Holder, sister, Beverly Godfrey, and brother, Robert Holder.
The family will announce services at a later date, allowing friends and loved ones to come together to honor and celebrate Linnie's life. In the meantime, they take comfort in the enduring impact he left on their lives and the countless memories shared together.
Linnie Arch Holder will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
