Loretta Noles Ludwig, 74, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her home.

A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Tilley Noles. She was a member of Westover Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don Ludwig; daughter, Angela Vaughn; and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Faye Barchie of Lawndale and Renee Vaughn of Gaston County; sister, Nellie Heavner of Kings Mountain; 9 grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Westover Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Wittington officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in New Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery.
