Margaret Brintley Vinson

Mrs. Margaret Brintley Vinson, 71, passed away on December 22, 2024.

She was born on August 2, 1953, to the late Dolphus Sr. and Lillie Alberta Corry Brintley.

Margaret graduated from Crest High School. She was formerly a childcare provider, caretaker, and institutional food service worker.

Margaret's greatest pride was being a wife and mother. Her maternal grace, spiritual guidance, and deep love for her family shaped her legacy. A loving soul, she radiated joy, generosity, and warmth. Good or bad, like it or not, Margaret was never afraid to be unapologetically honest. Margaret strove to emulate the mind of Christ.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers and ten sisters.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Glen D. Vinson, Sr.; children, Kimberly N. Vinson and Glen D. Vinson; siblings, Elizabeth Millage, Ruth Goodman, Rev. Rose Corry, and Sue (Robert) Miller; sisters in law, Jackie and Marie Brintley; brothers in law, Eddie Chambers and Paul Feaster, Sr.; three grandchildren, Anaya J. Tyler, Glen D. Vinson, III, and Lilya E. Vinson; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; and former students who will forever cherish her memory.

Services were held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Palmer Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Enloe Mortuary was in charge of services.
