Marjorie Campbell, age 91, died Wednesday , March 5th, 2025, at Atrium Health.

Born in Rutherford County on March 25 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert Willie and Winnie Pearl Hunt Campbell. Marjorie was a member of Plain View Baptist Church. She retired from Kemet. Marjorie enjoyed playing the slots and sitting in her kitchen and looking out the window to watch the squirrels and birds eat what she put out for them. As the Matriarch of the family she enjoyed hosting gatherings and most of all, spending time with her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her son, Ricky Miles; her great grandbabies, Dylan and Brooklyn Heffner; Three sisters, Linda Willis, Dorothy Lookadoo and Mary Hudson; and four brothers, Forest Campbell, Howard Campbell, Wayne Campbell and Bob Campbell.

Marjorie is survived by her two granddaughters; Charity Miles and Penny Weaver and husband Daniel; Her five great grandchildren, Robert Black, Harley Davis and husband Shawn, Jordan Jackson, Faith Jackson, Lauren Phillips and Husband Gavin; Her great great granddaughter, Taelynn Jackson; Her three sisters, Doris Blackwell and husband Butch of Ellenboro, Grace Ramsey of Drexel, and Ruby Outen and husband James of Monroe; three brothers, Donald Campbell and wife Renee of New House, Harold Campbell Jr. of Ellenboro, Oliver Campbell of Lattimore;

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Cecil M Burton Funeral Home and Crematory on Monday, March 10, 2025. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
