Marty Robert Francis, 69 of 5045 Pecan Drive, Shelby, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his residence.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on August 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Robert Paul Francis and Mattie Marilyn Lail Pitchford. He was retired from Performance Fibers and was a member of Lily Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Jane Ward Francis; son, Chris Francis and wife, Kim of Grover; daughter, Michelle Francis of Grover; four grandchildren, Jacob Jarrell, Avery Reese Francis, Jessica Bridges and Logan Morris; brother, Kenny Francis of Cleveland County and sister, Debra Mellon of Lattimore.

Services will be private.
