Marvin Edward Hudson, 90 of Casar, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Hospice in Forest City.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on December 3, 1933, he was the son of the late Zeb Anderson Hudson and Amanda Bee Tallent Hudson. Mr. Hudson was retired from Hickory Hill Furniture in Valdese and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eunice Hudson; brother, Odus Hudson, George Hudson, Grover Hudson, Zebbie Hudson, Julius Hudson, Tom Hudson; sisters, Ida Moses, Mamie Hudson, Sarah Downs, Vernie Hudson and Becky Hudson.

Survivors include his sons, Hudean Hudson and wife, Peggy of Polkville, Gary Hudson and wife Sandra of Casar and Darrell Hudson of Casar; daughter, Mary Huffman and husband Reggie of Casar; three grandchildren, Amber Huffman and husband, Donnie of Casar, Eric Champion and wife Leann of Casar and Alicia McLean of Morganton; two great grandchildren, Daniel Ledbetter and wife, Tasha of Shelby and Makayla McLean of Morganton; and great great granddaughter, Sophia Ledbetter of Shelby.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Corinth Baptist Church.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 4:00pm at Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. Dustin Hamrick and Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
