Mary Ann Hayes Morrison, 61, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at her home in Shelby, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on March 10, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Fitchue Hayes and Linda Devonne Ellis Hayes. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Rita D. Hayes and a brother Mark H. Hayes.

Mary Ann is survived by her son Jeff Morrison, two sisters Cynthia Hayes Wood, Belinda "Lynn" Edwards, brother Eric Hayes, and several nephews and nieces, Taylor and Devan Hayes, Michael and Laura Ellis, Ashley, Michael, Gabriel, Delilah, Wren, Joshua and LeAnn Ellis, Corey and Mason, Steven Edwards, Jr., Jack and Skylar Edwards, Lindsey and David Morrison and Everett.

To honor the wishes of Ms. Morrison, family and friends will gather by her graveside at Sunset Cemetery at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2023.
