Gaffney -- Mary Gillis McNeill, 61, of 150 Estate Ridge Road, passed away Friday, August 25th, 2017, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.

Born in Rockingham, she was the wife of Clyde McNeill and the daughter of the late Henry Hollis Gillis and Etta Swails Gillis. Mrs. McNeill worked as a homemaker and was a member of Dependent Baptist Church, Inman, SC.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. McNeill is survived by one son, Clyde Edwin "Mac" McNeill of Inman, SC; two daughters, Erin Hollace McNeill Vickery of St. Matthews, SC and Lauren "Blair" McNeill of Gaffney, SC; and five grandchildren, Noah Holden Cross, Mallory Cate McNeill, Harper Louise McNeill, Conoley Lucas Kail McNeill, and Hank Vickery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Pastor Joe Geddes officiating. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Harry Corbin, Bill English, Bill Henry, Brodie Cook, Roger McAbee, Tim Hill will serve as pallbearers.
