Mary Jo loved attending church growing up in Polkville Baptist as a youth, attending Zoar Baptist in her adult life and then helped Christopher Road Baptist Church grow as a charter member. She found her loving church home with Calvary Baptist Church in Shelby. She loved gardening and flowers, but most importantly, she loved praying for people and sharing the love of Jesus. No matter how bad she felt you could always hear her praying without ceasing for people. We know that we couldn't have you forever but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Thank you for being a true Christian and leading by example always putting others before yourself. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery.
