Maxine Willis Huffman, 79 of Mull Road, Vale, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at her son's home.

Born in Cleveland County on November 26, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Seth Willis and Lucille Bumgardner Willis. She was retired from Heavner Hosiery Mill and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary at Cooksville Fire Department.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Charles Buford Huffman.

She is survived by her son, Allen Charles Huffman of Vale; brother, Tommy Willis and wife, Robyn of Vale; two sisters, Pamela Fox and husband, Dennis of Connelly Springs and Carolyn W. Norman of Vale.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gregg Plott officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
